On the day we offer you the opportunity to speak with a professional financial advisor and calculate the cost of buying your first home through Genesishomes. A range of information,
will be provided for you, including brochures, New Build HomeBuy leaflets, price lists and solicitor details.
A member of the sales team will be on hand to take you around the show flat and explain the specification available. If there is no show flat then they will be happy to discuss floor-plans and explain the procedures involved in off-plan sales.
What do I need to bring?
Reservation fee
It costs £250.00 to reserve a property on the day. This money will then be subtracted from the amount payable upon completion of sale. Please note that once the financial interview has been successfully completed, the cheque becomes non-refundable. Solicitor details
Genesishomes works with a number of accredited solicitors who are experienced in New Build HomeBuy. If you have not got a solicitor already you will need to instruct one before you attend your interview. It is essential for the smooth passage of your purchase that the firm that represents you is customer focused, highly competent and also knowledgeable in the Affordable Housing Sector. For that reason we have a panel of firms that we recommend our clients to use.

Financial Interview Documents
We are now offering you the opportunity to have your financial interview at the open day. This will save time and ensure we can send the offer letter out to you the next working day. If you wish to do this please let a member of the sales team know and we will prepare accordingly. Alternatively if you would like to complete this at a later date, please remember to contact a member of the sales team to make an appointment.
Please note if you have been asked to attend a financial interview at our offices in Ealing we can take photocopies for you. However if you are meeting us at one of our shared ownership sites, then you will need to bring the original documents and photocopies.
